Accor taps TripAdvsior’s instant bookings

SINGAPORE  Accor confirmed, Tuesday, it will participate in TripAdvisor’s instant booking feature, making it easier for TripAdvisor users to reserve rooms at Accor properties.
The TripAdvisor instant booking feature allows travellers to book a room through TripAdvisor’s partners such as Accor without leaving the TripAdvisor site. The feature is currently available only to US based travellers.
“Our instant booking partnership with TripAdvisor offers a new seamless channel for travelers to find and book rooms at Accor properties,” said Romain Roulleau, senior vice president, e-Commerce at Accor.
inside no 5TripAdvisor reminds users that they are booking with the partner and provides users with links and numbers to contact the hotel’s customer service directly. All customer support inquiries will be handled by Accor.
“Accor is a very important addition to our instant booking programme,” said TripAdvisor senior vice president global sales, Robin Ingle. “Accor’s broad range of hotels and global reach mean more options for travelers and an even more robust product.”
Accor has an inventory of 470,000 rooms in 3,700 hotels across 14 brands in 92 countries.
