Thailand has four out of 10

BANGKOK  Four of the top beaches in Asia are in Thailand, according to TripAdvisor that announced, Wednesday, the winners of its 2015 Travellers’ Choice awards for beaches.
In its third year, the awards recognise the best beaches globally. It also has sub-rankings to show the top beaches in regions like Asia and also national level.
In the Asia rankings, Boracay’s White Beach in the Philippines was top. Two of the top ranked beaches were in the Philippines; the other, Yapak Beach, also in Boracay was in fifth place.

Phuket and Krabi in South of Thailand clearly dominated the national ranking with eight beaches out of Thailand’s top 10.
Travellers’ Choice award-winning beaches were determined based on the quantity and quality of traveller reviews and ratings for beaches on TripAdvisor gathered over a one-year period.

Railay Beach, Krabi – Eight hotels available to book on TripAdvisor with an annual average nightly rate of THB3,400.
