David Beckham fronts new Marina Bay Sands campaign

Marina Bay Sands has launched a major new promotional campaign featuring football legend David Beckham.

In the new ‘Never Settle’ campaign, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder is pictured in a range of locations at the Singapore integrated resort, including its famous rooftop ‘SkyPark’.

Ads will now be rolled out across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and China.

“I have collaborated with Marina Bay Sands on a wide range of projects ranging from charity events, inspirational workshops and festive celebrations,” said Beckham. “I am thrilled to be part of its story for the ‘Never Settle’ campaign, which is about a celebration of an amazing destination.”

Filming of the adverts took place over two days within cordoned-off areas and “under tight security conditions”, according to Marina Bay Sands. Due to the secrecy of the campaign, Beckham had to make his way to the various locations through back-of-house routes, only appearing moments before filming commenced.

Las Vegas Sands, Marina Bay Sands’ parent company, signed David Beckham in 2013 to help promote its Asian resorts.
