Explore Britain, the Bollywood way with TUI India

NEW DELHI - TUI India, the Indian arm of one of the world’s leading international leisure travel company, TUI Group, has partnered with ‘Visit Britain’ to promote the country in India with Bollywood trails. As part of this association, TUI India offers Indian clients – specifically young couples and honeymooners – five distinct tour packages with three to nine days itineraries involving visits to key film location sets in London, Oxford, Manchester, Cardiff and Edinburgh. In addition to this, a fun, interactive contest for couples has already been announced on ‘Visit Britain’s Facebook page. The winner of this contest will be rewarded with one of these exclusive packages by TUI India.

Speaking on the occasion of TUI India’s exclusive partnership with Visit Britain, Mr. Vishal Sinha, Chief Operating Officer, TUI India said, “Britain has always been a favourite destination with the Indian film fraternity. Blockbusters like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and more have been shot here. Films are a great binding factor among Indians and we've observed that Indian tourists in particular enjoy visiting spots where their favourite movies were filmed. We are delighted to associate with ‘Visit Britain’ as their exclusive travel partners. We have also been getting a lot of queries from Indian honeymooners to visit the country. Thus, we have launched a contest for two Indian couples to win their honeymoon to experience the destination like never before.”

With India’s outbound tourism expected to witness a rush in the coming summer, the tourists are expected to increase by about 10 to 15 per cent. Britain continues to remain a destination of choice among Indians and the announcement of Indians being able to visit Britain and Ireland on a single visa is one such move to attract more tourists.
