Tourico pre-buys activity and attraction tickets

Tourico Holidays has announced that it has started pre-buying activity and attraction tickets.

The wholesaler is taking its method of pre-paying for room blocks at hotels and applying it to the attraction sector, to give clients access to discounted rates, last-minute availability and more inventory with no blackout dates.

“By pre-purchasing activities and attractions in bulk from key suppliers, in key markets, we are able to secure even greater discounts, which we can then pass on to our clients,” said Ofir Cohen, Tourico’s executive vice president of global activities.

“Tourico’s not only offering discounts on ancillary products of up to 42% off of retail, we’re also ensuring our clients have access to last minute availability – even in high-demand markets.”

Tourico already has one of the largest inventories of activities and attractions in the travel industry, including more than 5,400 activities and attractions in 937 cities around the world.
