BANGKOK Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau says it will focus on digital marketing to make it easier for overseas event organisers to gain updated information.
The plan involves developing a Thailand MICE web portal, to improve TCEB’s online information distribution with mobile applications and easier access to the Thai MICE database.
TCEB president, Nopparat Maythaveekulchai, identified three key initiatives.
inside no 6Create a website to provide comprehensive information on MICE products and services catering to specific audiences. This involves the launch of new websites in eight languages including Thai, English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa Indonesia, Russian and Vietnamese.
Develop online marketing tools and digital sales kits, including a blog, digital brochures, photos and VDO content.
Launch marketing promotions and PR campaigns in key high potential markets.
This year, the bureau expects Thailand will welcome 1,036,300 international MICE visitors, earning THB106,780 million in revenue compared to last year of 919,164 visits generating THB80,800 million.
