KUCHING Dirty Dozen, will bring back its 35 glorious years of New Orleans style Jazz to Borneo Jazz Festival,which will be hosted 8 to 9 May at ParkCity Everly Hotel in Miri.
Founded in 1977 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the band last performed at the Borneo Jazz Festival in 2007.
The band is releasing its new album, a seamlessly blend of R&B, Jazz, Funk, Afro-Latino and Caribbean music called “Twenty Dozen” this year in commemoration of its 35th anniversary of Jazz music.
Jazz lovers can still buy early bird tickets for the festival, which are priced at RM80.00 for family package of two adults and two children (7 to 12 years of age), RM25.00 for a two-day child pass and RM15.00 for one-day child pass.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketcharge.com.my and are also available at TicketCharge Call Centre, TicketCharge’s Kuala Lumpur and Penang offices and all TicketCharge authorised outlets in the region.
In Sarawak tickets are available at Speedy Video outlets at Plaza Merdeka and the Spring Mall in Kuching and at Speedy Video Outlet in Bintang Plaza, Imperial Mall and Boulevard Shopping Centre in Miri.
Tickets are also available at the various Visitors’ Information Centre in Miri, Sibu and Kuching.
For its special 10th Anniversary of Jazz celebration, Sarawak Tourism Board will feature past year’s best performers’ lineup bringing back to favorite performers.
