IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center‘s sales profit sores 20% in first quarter of 2015

IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center moves ahead with a positive 20% increase in sales growth of 283 show events during first quarter of 2015, primarily from 1. meeting and conference, 2. weddings, 3. parties, 4. catering services, and exhibitions and concerts, respectively. For fiscal year 2014, IMPACT reached its goal of over 1,000 events generating 2,500 million baht in revenue.

According to Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd, the growth rate of exhibition is well above par at 20%, or 283 events, generating roughly 790 million baht compared to the same quarter of 2014 at 236 total events bringing in about 555 million baht in the first quarter of last year. Precisely, meeting and convention segment is still the leader with a total number of 90 events followed closely by weddings (50), company parties (41), outside catering (38), and exhibitions (18), respectively.

"Above all, our concert sector reaches a peak at 17 events this year, while the first quarter of 2014 received merely 5 events. Entrance examination takes second spot with a total number of 8 events coming closely by advertising and movie productions (6) as well as other events."

"We are now in the middle of finishing up our fiscal year’s financial reports, which goes from April – March every year."

"With our 2015 fiscal year, from April 2014 to March 2015, the number of events increases by 20%, or 166 more on top of 830 events coming close to our foreseeable target of 1,000 events yearly. From the 2014 fiscal year, we can conclude that the meeting segment came number 1 with 356 events, leaving the bridal segment in second place with 169, and the catering business with 144 events took 3rd place, while parties (104) and exhibitions (71) came last, in that order."
