LONDON With the addition of six new subjects, specialised strengths in Thailand’s higher education system are evident in the 36 disciplines covered in the QS World University Rankings by Subject, published today at www.topuniversities.com.
Thailand’s Kasetsart University ranks 39th worldwide for agriculture & forestry studies. This is the highest Thai ranking.
inside no 4Chulalongkorn University is listed in the top 100 for chemical engineering, modern languages and architecture / built environment.
Also appearing in the global top 100 is Mahidol University for medicine and Chiang Mai University for agriculture & forestry.
“These rankings provide an opportunity for institutions to showcase particular strengths that may not be represented in the overall rankings,” said QS head of research Ben Sowter.
In total, 15 different institutions top at least one of the 36 subjects covered in QS World University Rankings by Subject for 2015.
