InterContinental Resorts of French Polynesia announces top management appointments

TAHITI, French Polynesia - InterContinental Resorts of French Polynesia's regional vice president of operations, Philippe Brovelli, is pleased to announce top management appointments at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa, InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa, and the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa.

InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa
Jean Marc Mocellin, general manager and 23-year veteran at the helm of the "Parkroyal, Beachcomber InterContinental," is relocating mid-June to an InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) resort in Thailand. Thierry Brovelli, general manager of the InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa for the last 11 of 19 years with IHG, will succeed Mocellin as InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa's general manager. Charles de Resseguier, most recently from Accor in Vietnam and Belmond in the Caribbean, has been named deputy general manager.

InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa
Jean Heliere, deputy general manager of the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa for the past three years, has been promoted to general manager of the InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa.

InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa
Guillaume Epinette, who has spent 13 years with IHG including the last five years as general manager of InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa, is moving to Asia for an IHG project opening in 2016. Stephane Massarini, formerly of the InterContinental properties in Ishigaki and Okinawa, Japan, has been appointed the new general manager of the resort.

InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort
Laurence Levy continues to serve as general manager of the InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort, celebrating seven years in the role and 15 years with IHG.

"I am extremely proud of our general managers who have successfully led our award-winning resorts in French Polynesia," remarked Philippe Brovelli, regional vice president of operations for InterContinental Resorts of French Polynesia. "I look forward to working with our newly appointed general managers who bring extensive knowledge and expertise to their roles."
