TCEB continues 2015 global activities with Germany Business Events Road Show in May

BANGKOK - The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) or TCEB announced the continuation of the 2015 global marketing promotion activities with the "Thailand CONNECT the World: Germany Business Events Road Show 2015" to be held on 18 May 2015 at Hotel Adlon Kempinski, Berlin, Germany.

Mr. Nopparat Maythaveekulchai, President of TCEB said: "The Thailand CONNECT the World: Germany Business Events Road Show 2015 follows the success of similar roadshow held in Tokyo, Japan on 21 April 2015. Both events play significant role in highlighting Thailand's diversity of destinations that are enriched with world-class infrastructure and seamless connection. In addition, the current improved political environment in the country following the recent official lifting of martial law has helped further strengthen Thailand's positioning as a gateway to ASEAN success to international businesses, under the Thai Government's policy in building the confidence and moving forward to the ASEAN Economic Community."

The 'Thailand CONNECT the World: Germany Business Events Road Show 2015' is set to connect European and German industry experts and media together in a series of simultaneous events, which consist of Thailand's MICE showcases and an international press conference held separately in the morning, followed by a welcome luncheon reception full of enriching Thai experiences.

The event will provide the overview of trade and relations between Thailand and Germany, and the Thai Government's policy in building the confidence and moving forward to the ASEAN Economic Community. Industry experts and international media will also gain new insights into Thailand's MICE industry, the overview of the European and German MICE markets to Thailand, the launching of the new brand communication campaign for the Thai MICE industry in 2015: "Thailand CONNECT the World", and the introduction of special marketing promotion for the German MICE Market.

The event will graciously be presided over by representative from the Royal Thai Embassy, Berlin, Germany. Representatives from Team Thailand, including Thai Airways International and the Tourism Authority of Thailand will also be presented at the event.

The 'Thailand CONNECT the World: Germany Business Events Road Show 2015' is part of TCEB's global activities to organise the Thai MICE Roadshows from April to September 2015 in three key markets including Japan, Germany, and China. It is expected that this campaign will be able to reach a targeted MICE industry travellers of more than 1,000,000.
