Travellers in Singapore will now easily be able find their way back to their hotel with the help of ‘Find Your Way’, Skyscanner’s extension to its popular hotel app for the Apple Watch, which arrived in Singapore on Friday, 26 June 2015.
Launched globally in April 2015, ‘Find Your Way’ provides travellers with directions back to their hotel when in their destination, via their Apple Watch, and is Skyscanner’s first ever wearable app release.
Once a traveller ‘favourites’ a hotel within the Skyscanner app on their iPhone, they can then sync with their Apple Watch to access the direction service via their Apple Watch.
The watch will display the hotel name and estimated time it will take to walk back to the hotel as well as the hotel address and phone number.
Singapore will be joined by the markets of South Korea, Taiwan, Italy, Mexico, Spain and Switzerland in offering this feature to Skyscanner customers. Currently available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan and the UK, data or WiFi access is required on the Apple Watch to access this feature.
