Nha Trang: Wi-Fi for festival

KHANH HOA  Nha Trang is providing free Wi-Fi service to tourists until the end of July.
The free service is provided by the Khanh Hoa branch of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Group (VNPT).
With 28 stations, Wi-Fi is accessible along a 3 km stretch of beach from Nha Trang Airport to the Lao Dong Cultural House.
The service will help visitors to enjoy the Nha Trang Sea Festival, 11 to 14 July, when they can easily upload pictures of the event and communicate with friends on Facebook.
inside no 3The festival will feature cultural, sport and tourism activities such as an exhibition on marine cultural heritage; a document display on the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos and the semi-final round of the Miss Universe Vietnam.
Other highlights will include a street festival and music and concerts by local and foreign arts troupes.
As one of the largest events in the city, the biennial seventh festival is part of efforts to promote sea-related cultural values. It is expected to attract more than 100,000 visitors.
Vietnam has introduced free Wi-Fi for visitors in Hoi An, Danang, Halong, Hue, Da Lat, Cat Ba, Tam Dao, Can Tho and at Saigon Railway Station.
