Malaysia launches web portal

KUALA LUMPUR  Malaysia launched, Thursday, its first international booking platform packed with 500,000 travel products for consumers and trade visitors.
The launch of sutra.my took place at Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, earlier today, presided over by the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture, YB Datuk Mas Ermieyati binti Samsuddin.
It was one of her first official tourism appearances since she was appointed.
inside no 1Fully developed and locally owned, sutra.my offers over 500,000 travel products worldwide both to consumers and the travel trade.
It integrates the bookings of flights, hotels, apartments, transfers, tours, cars and express buses on one platform with real-time booking capability and payment options.

Commenting on the new web portal ahead of the launch, Tourism Malaysia officials said it would “underscore Malaysia’s innovative prowess internationally, but also invigorate the economy by channelling of foreign funds into the country. We look forward to seeing sutra.my grow Malaysia’s tourism industry further.”
Sutra Travel Management Group was represented by managing director Dato’ Syed Mohd Razif Syed Mohd Yasin Al Yahya, Group MD, Sutra Travel Management Group.
