Fairmont Jakarta marks grand opening with gala event

JAKARTA - Following the hotel’s soft opening in January 2015, Fairmont Jakarta celebrated its grand opening on 6 August 2015 with a special evening marked with cocktails, an exclusive dinner and a special performance by Indonesia’s famous pop singer, Agnes Monica in the hotel’s beautiful Grand Ballroom.

The grand opening also marks the debut of newly opened facilities, making the luxury hotel the top lifestyle and entertainment center in Jakarta. The new offerings include the hotel’s stately Presidential Suite and Signature Suites on the top floor as well as an array of dining and hangout outlets. These follow the existing range of guestrooms and Sky Suites, the all-day-dining restaurant, as well as Willow Stream spa and fitness center.

Fairmont Jakarta is the leading hospitality brand in the prestigious development by Senayan Trikarya Sempana, a subsidiary of Kajima Overseas Asia. Its master bedroom features a one-of-a-kind painting by Indonesian legendary painter, Affandi. The Signature Suites feature three 129-square meter one-bedroom suites and two 172-square meter two-bedroom suites. More options of dining facilities are now available at Fairmont Jakarta. For a more casual yet modern option, Sapori Deli on the 3rd floor offers Italian comfort food from delectable sandwiches to homemade pasta and pizzas – for dining in or grab-and-go convenience. Sapori provides an Italian-themed urban café where various components overlap – barista, gourmet retail, bakery & bistro.

Perfectly located on each side of the Main Lobby are Peacock Lounge and Barong Bar, each showcasing different characteristics. Peacock Lounge is a sophisticated lounge where guests can relax and enjoy light bites, tea and coffee throughout the day.
