Thaland's MICE industry joins forces to maintain confidence among Chinese MICE travellers

BANGKOK - The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) or TCEB announced the latest move to reinforce the 2015 partnership programme under the Thailand's MICE United II with the hosting of the "Thailand CONNECT The World: China MICE Commemorative Dinner 2015" to be held on 17 September 2015 at Hyatt on the Bund Hotel, Shanghai, the People's Republic of China.

The "Thailand CONNECT The World: China MICE Commemorative Dinner 2015" is one of the marketing and PR activities under the Thailand's MICE United II, a strategic campaign with collaboration from 9 public and private organisations to reinvigorate Thailand's positive image and position the country as a gateway to success in ASEAN, especially as the region is moving toward the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). TCEB will also present this event as a platform to update the China's MICE market on the real situation in Thailand.

Ms. Parichat Svetasreni, Director of Marketing and Corporate Image Department of TCEB, said that "Thailand CONNECT The World: China MICE Commemorative Dinner 2015" is "to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Thai-Chinese Relations, and forms core part of TCEB's outreach to the China's MICE market, a top source market to Thailand. The hosting of this event signifies a token of our appreciation to the Chinese business events travellers through targeted promotions and special welcome packages that TCEB and strategic partner, the Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA), have prepared to offer to Chinese MICE travellers to Thailand. Moreover, TCEB and RSTA will be providing updates on Thailand's MICE situation and measures to maintain confidence in Thailand as a preferred MICE destination."

The media dinner reception will be hosted by Ms Parichat Svetasreni, Director of Marketing and Corporate Image Department, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) or TCEB; and Mr Chai Srivikorn, President, Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA).
