Regent tops out Xian hotel

TAIPEI  Regent Hotels and Resorts recently announced the topping out of Regent Place Xian, a new hotel located in Xian, capital of China’s Shaanxi province.
Scheduled to open in the second half of 2016, Regent Place Xian is the second of four Regent hotels to open in the next three years. The first was Regent Chongqing and two more are in the pipeline to open after the Xian property; Regent Place Harbin and Regent Jakarta.
With the external structure of Regent Place Xian complete, BLINK Design Group is now working with HBA / Hirsch Bedner Associates and Aecom Technology Corporation on interior and landscaping designs.
inside no 8Regent Place Xian will offer 156 rooms as well as four dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant and café, a Chinese restaurant, Japanese cuisine and teppanyaki. A grand ballroom, five multifunctional meeting spaces, business centre, fully equipped gym, spa, swimming pool and sauna will complete facilities at Regent Place Xian.

Xian, situated in northwest China, is the oldest of the four great ancient capitals of China. It held its position under eleven of the most important dynasties in Chinese history, spanning more than 3,100 years. Xian is the starting point of the Silk Road and home to the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, making it a popular destination for both domestic and international visitors.
Regent Place Xian is close to the famous Dayan Tower and 50 minutes away from Xian Xianyang International Airport.
