Vietjet flies to Yangon

SINGAPORE  Vietjet has launched a new service Ho Chi Minh City to Yangon with five weekly flights.
Flight time is two hours 15 minutes to Yangon.
Vietjet currently operates two daily flights from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City. Flights depart Singapore Changi International Airport at 1300 and 1725 (local time). The return flights from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City depart for Singapore at 0855 and 1255. Flight time is two hours and five minutes.
inside no 6Travellers from Singapore can then spend a full day in Ho Chi Minh City before departing for Yangon from Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 1025 (Vietnam time) and arriving at Yangon International Airport at 1210 (Yangon time). The return flight departs Yangon at 1100 (Yangon time) and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 1545 (Vietnam time).
The return flights require a time-wasting back-track for Singaporean travellers if they combine a trip to Ho Chi Minh City with Yangon. The Yangon-HCMC-Singapore leg would take five hours or more depending on connections. (An overnight stop on Vietjet both ways). In contrast, a direct flight back to Singapore from Yangon would take just two hours and 55 minutes. (Tiger Air).
Vietjet operates 180 flights daily using a fleet of 27 Airbus aircraft. In Vietnam, Vietjet connects Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Danang with points in Asia including Singapore, Bangkok, Taipei, Seoul, Siem Reap, Yangon and Hangzhou.
The airline has transported 15 million passengers since it was formed in 2011.
