BANGKOK Thai Airways International’s management and staff welcomed HRH Princess Ubolratana Mahidol to the airline’s stand at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London earlier this week.
In her capacity as tourism ambassador and representative of the Thai people as well as the Royal Thai Government, HRH Princess Ubolratana Mahidol visited the THAI booth (AS330) to meet with UK travel agents and tourism specialists to encourage them to promote and visit Thailand.
THAI’s booth provided a meet-and-mingle point for trade visitors and media to learn more about the airline’s services and upgrades.

A highlight for the UK travel market was the recent introduction of the A380 and B777 on the airline’s Bangkok-London route and the upgrade of inflight services and product content throughout its route network.
THAI was recently recognised as one of the world’s top 10 airlines for first class service and long-haul economy class service by AirlineRatings.com.
World Travel Market closed today, 5 November. THAI was among 5,000 exhibitors at the ExCel Centre.
WTM remains an important global gatherings for the travel industry as a curtain raiser for travel negotiations ahead of the new summer travel catalogue releases across Europe, next year.
Traditionally, planning and pricing for the next round of travel catalogues begins with WTM and ends usually with ITB in March.
THAI historically uses the two biggest shows in Europe to showcase and announce new products to the trade and media.
THAI operates double daily nonstop flights from London to Bangkok, and offers one of the largest networks of Asian services for UK visitors to connect once they arrive at the airline’s hub at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok. It serves 61 destinations in 33 countries.
