PHU QUOC  Phu Quoc district People’s Committee says an air route from the southern resort island of Phu Quoc to China’s Guangzhou will begin in 2016.
The committee vice chairman, Huynh Quang Hung, told local media that an agreement between the island’s officials, Phu Quoc International Airport and Chinese authorities was reached at a recent meeting.
Flights could start as early as January next year.
