SINGAPORE - Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (“Vietjet”) last week received its latest aircraft, an Airbus A321 (coded VN-A665) at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.

The new aircraft, an A321neo, with Sharklet wingtips, is the tenth of the 100 aircraft order made by the airline with Airbus in September 2013. The 230 seat aircraft is the latest version of the single-aisle aircraft manufactured by Airbus. The advanced design of the aircraft, which helps reduce fuel costs and CO2 emissions is expected to boost the carrier’s efficiency and help towards protecting the environment.

“With this addition to the fleet, Vietjet is now operating 29 brand-new and modern A320s and A321s, helping the new-age airline to further develop its network in Vietnam and across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Mr. Luu Duc Khanh, Managing Director, Vietjet. “When flying with us, passengers will experience the full suite of Vietjet’s high-quality services including comfortable seats on modern aircraft and great service from our friendly onboard staff.”

Vietjet currently operates 190 flights per day across 35 routes, domestically and internationally. The airline features fast and easy check-in services and high quality onboard services. Express check-in is also available at all airports for passengers over 65 years of age, expectant mothers, and families travelling with infants.
