PHUKET, Thailand - Singaporean commercial real estate developer, Castlewood Group celebrated the grand opening of their flagship luxury hotel development in Asia, Dream Phuket Hotel & Spa and Dream Beach in true New York cosmopolitan style with their signature world-class hospitality – delectable Michelin-inspired F&B complemented by seductive grooves from jazz-funk meisters, Jan Kincaid from The Brand New Heavies and Caron Wheeler from Soul II Soul.

Dream Phuket Hotel & Spa breaks free from the classic paradigms of five-star hospitality with its eco-design, world-class cuisine, modern venue concepts and luxurious service ethos. Opened in November 2015 with 174 guestrooms, suites and villas, Dream Phuket Hotel & Spa is located on the northern peninsula of beautiful Bang Tao beach in an upmarket area favoured by other international five star hotels and luxury villa communities.

A three-time winner of New Hotel Design and Construction Thailand from the prestigious International Hotel Awards Asia Pacific (for the years 2012-2013, 2013-2014, and 2014-2015), the hotel also breaks new ground with its environmental-friendly features that effectively reduce its eco-footprint. Passive ventilation designs encourage airflow and reduce power expenditure, while overhanging balconies and “green” walls provide natural shade. On the roofs, grey water collection and filtration processes reuse rainwater for irrigation, and energy efficient LED lights reduce electricity consumption. The architecture was also designed to seamlessly integrate indigenous landscape features for an immersive experience unique to Thailand.

Trilogy, the signature restaurant, will be a first of its kind in Phuket — Michelin-inspired menus designed by three world-class chefs who have been awarded three Michelin stars amongst them. This will be the first of many such restaurants that Castlewood Group plan to open in Asia.

Opened in December 2015, Dream Beach, Phuket’s most luxurious beach club is designed to provide a complete day-to-night beach club experience with modern decor and contemporary furnishings that provide an unparalleled escape found nowhere else in Phuket. Set on the pristine white sand of Layan Beach with direct access to the sea, the 2,000 square foot multi-level club is set to be the hottest beach club in Asia especially with iconic global music names, Ministry Of Sound and Hed Kandi signed on as the exclusive entertainment partners for the venue. Inspired by their successful summers in Ibiza, Hed Kandi will make a much-coveted exception for this partnership by breaking away from their nighttime model to throw seductive daytime pool parties each month. Ministry of Sound will host monthly parties at Dream Beach with an international lineup of DJs spanning various genres of music. Dream Beach will also host an impressive roster of resident DJs from both brands and other exclusive partners, including crowd favourites, DJ Eibhlin, DJ Pheobe D’Abo and DJ Tim Cullen.
