HO CHI MINH CITY Vietjet signed, late last week, a cooperation agreement with South Korea’s Incheon Tourism Organisation to promote travel products to Vietnamese flying its services to South Korea.
Under the agreement, ITO will offer special services and organise events just for Vietjet’s passengers at tourist-attractions in Incheon city.
Vietjet in return will launch promotional programmes and entertainment activations to attract tourists to Incheon city.
Vietjet’s Commercial head, Nguyen Thanh Son, said the agreement will create more tourism opportunities and offer incentives for Vietnamese travellers booking the airline’s flights to South Korea.
Incheon is the second largest port city in South Korea.
Vietjet has already opened 50 routes in Vietnam and across the region to international destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Myanmar and Malaysia.
