BANGKOK Dignitaries from  around the world signed books of condolences for the Late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Royal Thai Embassies.

Cambodia’s HM the King Norodom Sihamoni laid a wreath and mourned the death of the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh.

The Cambodian monarch was joined by the Queen Mother of Cambodia at the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh.

inside no 13Thai people abroad have organised numerous religious ceremonies for the revered King.

Royal Thai embassies, worldwide, have opened books of condolences at their premises for people to sign.

In the UK, those signing the books of condolences included mayors and diplomats.

Religious ceremonies for the King at Wat Phutthaprathip Temple and 19 other temples in the UK and Ireland will continue until 20 October 2016.

In Singapore the embassy is open for signing of the books of condolences until  the evening, 23 October.

Minister Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Cairo Chawadol Nipathannont, Thai civil servants, Thai-Muslim students and Thai people in Cairo have observed a nine-minute silence for the late King and signed a book of condolences.

In Hanoi, the Vietnamese President led a group of high-ranking officials to lay a wreath in front of an image of the King and signed a book of condolences at the Thai embassy.

Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea Sarun Charoensuwan has welcomed Speaker of the Republic of Korea’s 20th National Assembly Chung Sye-kyun who travelled to the embassy to sign a book of condolences.
