HALONG BAY, VIETNAM – Halong Bay cruise operator Bhaya Group is redefining luxury cruise experiences in Vietnam's Gulf of Tonkin with lavishly refurbished vessels, exclusive new itinerary options and an ongoing commitment to sustainable travel initiatives as it launches the only two-night, three-day journey in Halong Bay.

Guests aboard Bhaya Group's The Au Co cruise can now appreciate not only travelling through Halong Bay in complete style and with less impact on the environment, but also new on- and off-board excursions not available anywhere else.

Now outfitted to take travellers on three-day, two-night cruises exploring even the most remote regions of Halong Bay, including destinations that were once only able to be reached for one day. The Au Co's new Halong Bay and Gulf of Tonkin Discovery package is the first and only continuous three-day cruise designed to discover a different side of the world-renowned Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay

The Au Co cruise is also the only in the region to offer guests the exclusive opportunity to visit Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. Here, guests can choose their own method of exploring the welcoming village and striking island, whether it be cycling, trekking through the jungle or travelling via electric carts. While marvelling at the untouched landscapes, guests can also visit The Au Co organic farm, a cooperative venture between The Au Co and Viet Hai Village supporting eco-friendly agriculture practices and helping the local economy.

Experiences include trekking through virgin forest areas.

"Bhaya Group is known for offering guests experiences that stand out from the rest by combining authentic Vietnamese culture and hospitality with ultimate comfort and luxury," said Bhaya Group Managing Director, Ms. Ly Thuy Huynh Nhu. "The Au Co cruise's commitment to quality goes beyond simply refurbished ships however, as we continuously work to make the experiences more unique and more eco-friendly as we welcome a new generation of discerning travellers."

Along with completely remodeled cabins designed to envelop guests in pure elegance, The Au Co now features enhanced onboard facilities, including a new reception area, spa, upscale restaurant, cocktail bar, library, sundeck and even a private open-air cinema allowing guests to view a film at sea before drifting off to sleep.

Guests can also enjoy dining in the contemporary indoor restaurant or outdoor balcony while soaking up the scenery. The Au Co menu, exclusively using fresh, local ingredients, blends Vietnamese and Western cuisine, created by French Chef, Andre Bosia, known for his 25 years of experience in the kitchens of Michelin star restaurants around the world.

While journeying through the region's most pristine destinations, guests can relax in absolute comfort and peace, thanks to not only the comfortable cabins, but also knowing that The Au Co is dedicated to minimizing impact on the environment through highly regulated waste storage, eco-friendly engines and by supporting a range of CSR initiatives, including beach cleanups.
