Lufthansa deploys A380 on Bangkok run

BANGKOK Lufthansa will increase passenger capacity on it Frankfurt- Bangkok route when it introduces the Airbus A380 effective 29 October.

The switch from a Boeing 747-400 to the Airbus A380 will increase seat capacity by 35% across four class cabins; first, business, premium economy, and economy.

Thailand continues to be a strong leisure destination for Lufthansa especially during the winter schedule, October through to March.

The airline has committed an Airbus A380 to the Bangkok Frankfurt route from October 2017 to March 2018, when there is considerable demand, but has not finalised plans for the route during the summer timetable 2018.

“Our customers will be thrilled to travel with us on the Airbus A380. It is comfortable, spacious and quiet, which makes it perfect for long-haul flights like services between Bangkok and Frankfurt,” said Lufthansa Group general manager passenger sales Thailand and the Mekong region, Dirk Grossmann.
