SINGAPORE – Royal Caribbean International's Mariner of the Seas, one of the largest and most innovative cruise ships in the region, has returned on September 10 for her longest-ever and final season until next April. She is offering 56 Southeast Asian sailings of 3 to 9 nights from Singapore, the highest number for this ship ever, up from 41 sailings last season.
The ship's itineraries with popular regional destinations lined up for this season are:
15 Decks of Activities and Entertainment
The 15-deck, 3,807-guest Mariner of the Seas comes with a wide range of innovative activities and entertainment only found on Royal Caribbean, such as the Royal Promenade – a boulevard of duty-free shops, ice-skating rink and full-sized sports court with a rock-climbing wall. In addition, there is a three-tier theatre and DreamWorks Entertainment well-liked by guests of all ages, which feature 'celebrity' characters like Shrek and Fiona of "Shrek" and Po of "Kung Fu Panda" during parades, character breakfasts and photo opportunities.
There are numerous dining options onboard including the Main Dining Room and Windjammer Cafe which serve a variety of international cuisine with a selection of Asian dishes. There are also specialty restaurants namely Chops Grille Steakhouse, Giovanni's Table Italian restaurant, and Johnny Rockets. As for accommodation, the choice ranges from the luxurious suites to the unique Promenade staterooms with views overlooking the Royal Promenade.
The ship will then be deployed to Miami, Florida in April 2018, after having homeported year-round in Asia out of Singapore and China since 2013.
