China Airlines serves London

China Airlines will debut scheduled services between its home base in Taipei and London, 28 March.

The airline will serve the route three times a week. CI069 will depart at 0945 on Tuesday and Sunday and at 0935 on Thursday. CI070-bound for Taipei departs at 2115 and 2205, respectively.

The route will be operated by Airbus A340-300 aircraft, configured with 30 business-class seats and 246 economy-class seats.

With the inauguration of the new London non-stop route, China Airlines will serve five European destinations. Currently, it offers non-stop services to Frankfurt and Vienna, while teh Amsterdam flight stop overs in Bangkok, and its Rome flight stop overs in Delhi. CI also serves Prague through a code-share agreement with Czech Airlines. Passengers can travel by train from their European gateway to Hamburg, Hanover, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Nuremburg, Munich and Stockholm through an agreement signed with rail operator ICE Germany.
