CM to attend ‘Inside Investor Forum Asia 2012’ in Doha

KUCHING: Chief Minister Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud will attend the ‘Inside Investor Forum Asia 2012’ in Doha, Qatar on Oct 8 and 9, a high-profile investor conference that will also see the launch of a brand new investment report ‘Inside ASEAN 2012’ featuring a special focus on Sarawak’s investment landscape.

In a press statement from Kuala Lumpur which was received here yesterday, it mentioned that ‘Inside Investor Forum Asia 2012’ is a premium forum for Asian and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) investors eager to explore the latest investment trends, opportunities, partnerships and portfolio diversification strategies in order to achieve long-term economic growth.

About 500 senior level executives will be attending the high-profile event in Doha, representing a broad range of economic sectors and regions.

The focus of the event will be on Banking and Finance, Food Security and Halal Industry, Energy and Resources, Green Investments and Technology, Real Estate, Transport and Infrastructure, Education and Healthcare.
