Encore Incentives has joined arinex, Australia's leading PCO, Destination Management Company (DMC) and Event Management Company. In announcing the move, arinex Managing Director, Roslyn McLeod, said "The move is timely and an excellent fit for both ENCORE and arinex. The expertise of arinex and our strong international network will enable us to work together to grow the DMC business from the USA – the traditional market of ENCORE."

Encore was established in 2001 by Paulette Crowder and Deb Saunders and is a leading DMC operator into Australia, Fiji and New Zealand. Paulette Crowder said, "Joining arinex is a strong next step for us – we love what we do and want to continue to grow. This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen our combined business for the future." ENCORE's North American representation company The DMC Group has welcomed the move and will continue to represent ENCORE-arinex DMC in the USA and Canada. Philippa Durrant of The DMC Group said "This is an exciting time for ENCORE, especially as it broadens their worldwide reach – perfect for Paulette and Deb and the arinex team."

Meanwhile, at the 2013 Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) National Gala Dinner in Darwin, Professional Conference Organiser arinex pty limited was awarded:

Meetings and Events Management Organisation of the Year 8 or More Employees
Government or Association Meeting of the Year and
    Education and Training Award.

The Government Meeting of the Year was the 5th Biennial Equity Conference, which was held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from 22 to 23 August 2011. Equity 2011 explored successful school practice that transforms the way schooling takes place in low socioeconomic school communities and addressed the challenges facing students in disadvantaged communities.

Having served three years in the MEA Hall of Fame for Meetings and Events Management Organisation of the Year (8 or More Employees), arinex returned to the winners’ platform to take out this coveted award marking four consecutive successful entries.

In accepting the awards, Managing Director Roslyn McLeod paid tribute to the team at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre (SCEC).  She said, “Winning awards is a team effort and arinex is proud to have had the pleasure of working with Ton van Amerongen, CEO of SCEC, his wonderful team members including Helen, Annabel and Sue, and many others who have been there to support us and deliver delight to our clients over the last 25 years. It is an emotional moment when we will say goodbye at the end of 2013 and we wish to express our sincere gratitude for their dedicated and excellent partnership that has contributed to our award success.”

“Being hailed as Meeting Management Company of the Year and winning the Meeting of the Year award is a double confirmation of the arinex staff commitment to our clients. Recognition from MEA and the judges for staff training and development, via the Education and Training Award, is a welcome bonus. Congratulations to all the award winners, and in particular, our industry partners with whom we combine our complementary skills to deliver inspirational experiences.”
