The Thai government's Centre for the Resolution of Emergency Situation (CRES) will continue imposing the curfew in Bangkok and 23 provinces for three more days.

Army and CRES spokesman, Sansern Kaewkamnerd, said on Thursday that the curfew will last until Saturday. "People in the curfew-imposed areas are not allowed to leave their homes from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am," Col. Sansern said.

He said this would facilitate security forces to tackle unrest activities and maintain order across the country. Foreign tourists and Thai travelers will be allowed to go to Bangkok airports, getting a waiver from a curfew imposed by the authorities, government spokesman Panitan Wattanayagorn said.

Panitan announced on television that the curfew relaxation would be extended to those carrying passports and travel documents.
