The Hong Kong-based Dragonair has recently launched its new direct flights between Hong Kong and Siem Reap, home to Angkor temples, with an aim to expand its network in the region and to promote tourism and business ties between the two cities.
The first flight of Dragonair to Siem Reap province landed on Oct. 27 with a warm welcome from Siem Reap Provincial Governor H.E. Khim Bunsong and Dragonair General Manager for Southeast Asia Mr. Wilson Yam.
According to Mr. Wilson Yam, the Hong Kong-based subsidiary of Cathay Pacific runs currently around 10 flights per week from Hong Kong to Phnom Penh, and will operate its flights from Siem Reap to Hong Kong on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
