28th SEA Games: Cambodia Earns 4 Medals Until June 6

Up to  Cambodia has won in total four medals – a gold, a silver and two bronze – at the South East Asian Games (SEA Games) 2015 being held in Singapore, according to the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS).

Cambodia got a gold and a bronze medals in sepaktakraw, and a silver and a bronze medals in petanque, pointed out MoEYS.

Cambodia thus ranked 8th on the list, before Laos and Brunei. The host country, Singapore, took the lead with 17 gold medals, followed by Vietnam and Thailand with 13 and 10 gold medals, respectively.

Cambodian athletes have been participating in 316 disciplines of 22 sports out of 402 disciplines of 36 sports this year.

In the SEA Games 2013 in Myanmar, Cambodia earned 47 medals: 8 gold, 11 silver, and 28 bronze.
