China Airlines has announced it will increase capacity to New Zealand, moving the Boeing 747-400 on its three times weekly Auckland-Brisbane-Taipei service.
Commencing 29 November 2013 through to 28 February 2014, the 747 will replace the A330 on the route, adding an additional 82 seats per flight on the route.
“We have developed a strong presence in Australasia since increasing to daily services ex-AKL in October 2012,” China Airlines New Zealand sales manager Gareth Williamson said.
“We are delighted to have CI’s flagship aircraft visit Auckland, and coupled with additional flights between Taipei and Sydney over the same period, we are able to significantly increase seat availability ex-New Zealand over the summer season”.
Earlier this month, China Airlines announced a new codeshare agreement with Hawaiian Airlines, increasing its presence in Hawaii.
