Emirates expands network

12 Oct 2013  2063 | Business & Trade Fairs

Emirates’ started new services, earlier this week, to Clark in the Philippines, a brand new A380 service to Brisbane and extended its Dubai-Milan service to New York.

Clark is the Emirates’ second destination in the Philippines after Manila. The airport is located 80 km north of the capital, in Angeles City and is usually associated with low-cost airlines due to its lower fee structure.

Emirates already serves New York and Milan from Dubai with nonstop flights, but the extension of the Milan flight to New York gives the airline an opportunity to tap traffic from Italy to the US east coast.

With the Milan-New York connection, Emirates now serves New York with a triple daily.

Brisbane becomes Emirates’ 22nd A380 destination.

After launching Warsaw, Algiers, Tokyo Haneda and Stockholm so far this year, the airline is planning services to Conakry in Guinea, Sialkot in Pakistan, Kabul, Kiev, Taipei and Boston over the coming months.
