Discounts on TG routes

THAI Airways International sells discounted fares for December to January travel.

A “Winter Special in December” sells a roundtrip fare, exclusive of  taxes and surcharges, departing Bangkok, at Bt5,340 to Hong Kong and Bt6,310 to Teipei.

A Bt4,855 fare is on offer to China’s Kunming, and Bt6,310 to Guangzhou and Chengdu, while a Bt12,615  fare is on offer to Japan’s Osaka, Nagoya, and Sendai.

Fares to neighbouring coutries: Bt2,430 to Mandalay; Bt3,590 to Vientiane, Luang Prabang and Phnom Penh; Bt3,885 to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Yangon and Bt3,980 to Kuala Lumpur.

Other fares to Asia Pacific destinations: Bt5,825 Kolkata and Dhaka; Bt8,250 Delhi, Hyderabad, Kathmandu, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai; Bt12,615 Perth; and Bt14,070 Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Long-haul destination fares are: Bt22,315 to London, Frankfurt, Munich, Brussels, Milan, Madrid, Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.

Passengers can book fares to 15 January next year for travel between 1 December and 15 January 2014. Ticket valid for 14 days.

The fares are not valid for departure from Bangkok 5 to 7 December and 27 to 31 December.

Baggage allowance is 30 kg for both outbound and inbound sectors. For FFP members an extra 500 miles is awarded for Europe and Australia routes and extra 300 miles on other routes. Extra miles will be credited within January 2014.

There is an estimated saving of 10% to 20% off standard  fares.
