Vietnam’s low-cost airline adds flights

SINGAPORE  Vietjet has announced plans to increase flights from one to two daily on its Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City route, effective 30 May.
The airline says the increase is due to a growing demand for low-cost air travel between the two destinations.
With two roundtrips per day, the new route will have a capacity of 5,040 seats a week.
The expanded schedule will see daily flights depart Singapore Changi International Airport at 1350 and 1800 (local times). Out of HCMC’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport flights depart at 0855 and 1400 (local times). The flight time is two hours and five minutes.
inside no 6Vietjet currently operates 150 flights daily with a fleet of 21 A320 Airbus aircraft on 28 routes. To further expand routes, Vietjet will take delivery of more Airbus A320s this September.
