SEPANG - AirAsia Berhad is rapidly expanding its extensive flight network with the announcement of its fourth unique route within a month, connecting Kuala Lumpur to Goa, India with 3 times weekly flights to commence 27th August 2015.

Following the announcement of other brand new routes such as Kuala Lumpur – Pattaya, Johor Bahru – Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur – Kaohsiung, Taiwan earlier this month; the airline is now launching its fourth unique destination from Kuala Lumpur – Goa, India, another direct route operated exclusively by AirAsia. This is also its second route to India launched this year after Kuala Lumpur – Visakhapatnam back in March.

Spencer Lee, Head of Commercial for AirAsia Berhad said, “We’re on a streak here, this is undoubtedly an exciting month for AirAsia as we continue our rapid flight network expansion plan with the announcement of four unique routes within a month! Our guests will be spoilt for choices with this latest addition of unique route to the world famous beach resort Goa in West India and also one of the richest state in India. We are committed towards expanding our network for our guests and connecting them to unique routes from our various hubs at everyday low fares.”

A solitary Portuguese outpost in India for almost 500 years, Goa is an Indian state located on the West Coast of India stretching along the Arabian Sea. The colonial influence can be seen everywhere through its many well-preserved 16th century churches such as the Basilica of Bom Jesus and many other world-heritage architectures. Swaying palm trees, white sandy beaches and sparkling blue Arabian sea are also what hundreds of thousands local and international tourists flocked to Goa for, its pristine beaches like Calangute and Baga are world renowned.

Concurrently, AirAsia is also offering 20% discount for all seats, all flights across AirAsia and AirAsia X’s extensive network, only available at the series of AirAsia Travel Fair (AATF) which is taking place this month at different cities in Malaysia. The next few stops for AATF will be at AEON Mall Bukit Indah, Johor on 12-14 June, Suria Sabah Shopping Mall at Kota Kinabalu on 20-21 June and CityOne Mega Mall, Kuching on 27-28 June 2015.

AirAsia is also continuously looking into making the booking experience as smooth and fast as possible for guests. The airline’s website airasia.com now provides an enhanced booking system with features that enables faster payment (Xpress booking), easier navigation with previews of details and add-ons for your booking, as well as the ability to pick up from your last search.
