BANGKOK Thai Lion Air will start flights from Bangkok to Nanchang in China 1 April.
According to the airline’s website, the new service will offer four weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport to Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi province in southeast China.
Nanchang is famous for its Lushan Mountain and Wuyuan Village and the Star of Nanchang the second largest Ferris wheel in the world.
The low-cost airline launched two new routes connecting Bangkok to Chengdu and Chongqing in China 1 March.
China is now a key market for Thailand’s low-cost airlines.
Thai AirAsia currently operates a service to Nanchang from Pattaya’s U-Tapao Airport with four weekly flights on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with a one-way inclusive fare starting at THB4,555.
