Cambodia will be the host country for the 41st meeting of the Asean Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry (AMAF) in 2020, according to a senior official of the Ministry of Agriculture.
After returning from Vietnam where he participated in the 40th AMAF and the 18th AMAF Plus Three (AMAF+3) in Hanoi on Sunday, Agriculture Minister Veng Sakhon said the government vowed to boost the reform of the agriculture sector.
He said the ministry of agriculture will prioritize the tasks in the agriculture sector to align with the development of the country’s economy and the region’s economy.
He said Cambodia will prepare to be the host country for the 41st meeting of the AMAF in 2020.
