Vietnet to distribute Forcepoint in Cambodia

IT firm Vietnet Distribution JSC is now the distributor in Cambodia for global cybersecurity giant Forcepoint.

Vietnet announced yesterday that it will distribute the full Forcepoint offer in the Kingdom.

“Vietnet is confident in its capabilities and resources for developing Forcepoint products and solutions, as well as providing a flexible and reasonably priced service,” said Vietnet chairman and CEO Nguyen Minh Hung.

Based in Austin, Texas, Forcepoint develops and markets cybersecurity software to prevent employees from viewing inappropriate or malicious content, or leaking confidential data.

It also sells firewall, cloud access, and cross-domain IT security products. Word-wide, more than 20,000 government organizations and enterprises use their services, according to the company.

Mr Nguyen said new technologies and trends like Internet of Things and cloud storage have made computer systems more vulnerable, adding that Forcepoint’s products were now more needed than ever.

With a rapidly expanding economy, and a rising fintech sector, Cambodia is ready to welcome Forcepoint’s products and services, he said.

“Our hope is to bring world-class solutions against all cyber-attacks in Cambodia as we see there is a growing risk posed by cybercrime, particularly in the banking sector and in government agencies.
