Wing and Amret join forces

In a bid to facilitate banking for thousands of customers, Wing and Amret on Friday launched a partnership that will enable account-to-account transfers and direct cash deposits through Wing kiosks.

Wing and Amret’s customers can now transfer money between accounts at either institution through the Wing Money App.

In addition, Amret’s customers can also deposit funds into their Amret account through any of Wing’s 6,000 agents nationwide.

Jojo Malolos, Wing’s CEO, said the partnership between Wing and Amret is grounded in a mutual commitment to financial inclusion and will enable the unbanked and under-banked more access to financial services. As a result, he said, the partnership will contribute to national economic growth.
