Travel and Tourism Fair starts in Hyderabad

The 87th edition of `Travel and Tourism Fair'(TTF) started here today. Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Vatti Vasanth Kumar, while inaugurating the three-day event, said Indian Travel and Tourism industry was on the path of growth and consolidation.

andnbsp;He stressed the need for a collective endeavour to promote tourism destinations in different states and also called for efforts to increase foreign tourist arrivals. Over 170 domestic and outbound travel organisations from 19 states/union territories and seven foreign countries are showcasing deals in travel and tour packages, destinations and hotels.

andnbsp;Union Ministry of Tourism, Andhra Pradesh Tourism, and Pacific Asia Travel Association and Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India are supporting the event and about 10,000 visitors are expected to visit the show here, said Sanjiv Agarwal, Chairman and CEO of Fairfest Media, the organisers.
