Gulf Air has announced it will be increasing frequencies on the Bahrain - Beirut route with four extra weekly flights between 19 June and 14 July 2012.
Since the carrier launched flights between Bahrain and Beirut in 1974 the route has grown considerably, with consistently high travel demand leading the airline to increase its frequency particularly during the peak summer months.
Gulf Air chief executive officer Mr Samer Majali said Beirut is a vital route and a popular destination to the airlines passengers.
“Lebanon is an important market for us and the increase in flights between Bahrain and Beirut is a clear indication of the huge attraction Beirut continues to have to so many regional travellers,” Mr Majali said.
“We are glad to have connected Lebanon with Bahrain and the wider Gulf and Middle East region thereby facilitating trade and tourism.
“Gulf Air’s aim is to offer additional attractive options for our passengers - providing convenient, flexible and multiple travel choices at an affordable price”.
