Samui: Feast on fine food

SAMUI, 27 August 2012: Samui is promoting its second Samui Fine Dining Festival 2012 that will run from September to October highlighting both independent restaurants and signature restaurants in hotels.

The 2nd Samui Fine Finning Festival starts, 1 September, with 26 restaurants participating up from 16 restaurants featured in the inaugural event last March.

The two-month food festival focuses on restaurants that present a fine dining menu paired with wines at a cost of around Bt2,200 to Bt4,000 per meal (US$70 to US$120).

The event is organised by Prime Star and is supposed to be held twice a year – in March/ April and September/ October.
