ANA airline group ups the ante

Japan’s ANA airline group announced new flight schedules focused on strengthening its business model to capture demand for long-haul flights.

The airline plans to improve competitiveness and optimize aircraft usage by introducing the Boeing 787 on more international and domestic routes

Flights from Narita to Seattle will operate the Boeing 787 from 1 October, with flights from Haneda to Beijing to follow on 28 October this year.

A new route between Narita and San Jose will launch from 11 January 2013 with the Boeing 787.

Subject to approval of the government authorities, schedules between Narita and the destinations of Yangon, New Delhi and San Jose will increase in addition to more frequent flights between Narita and New York.
