Low cost carrier Scoot has further extended its network across Asia to now include Singapore, Taiwan and Tokyo starting 29 October.
This will make the airline the first and only low cost carrier to operate daily between Singapore Changi Airport and Tokyo’s Narita International Airport.
Scoot is the only low cost carrier to operate services between Tokyo and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
Scoot chief executive officer Campbell Wilson said the airline is all about new experiences, fun and quirkiness and Tokyo fits that description.
“From the vibrancy of Shinjuku to the peace of Meiji-jingu, the tradition of Asakusa to the weird and wacky of Harajuku or Akihabara,” Mr Wilson commented of his favourite place to visit.
Mr Wilson added the airline is delighted to be linking Singapore, Taipei and Tokyo with a whole new travel experience.
“With such great fares and the most spacious economy seats of any low cost airline, there’s never been a better time to get outta here and Scoot.”
