Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands (MMVB) has again listed AirAsia among Malaysia’s top 30 local brands.
Since the last MMVB study in 2009, AirAsia has recorded growth of 257.3 percent, the largest among its peers.
The airline ranked 12th at the recent MMVB 2012 award ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur.
The MMVB, conducted by Interbrand, are determined through financial performance, role of brand and brand strength.
“In just ten short years we have managed to grow and expand not only locally but also throughout the region and we will continue to strive and bring ‘Brand Malaysia’ to greater heights globally,” AirAsia Berhad chief executive Aireen Omar said.
AirAsia also retained its award as TTG’s ‘Best Asian Low-Cost Carrier’ this year; its sixth consecutive win.
