British Airways winter special offer for Hong Kong travellers

With Christmas and the New Year just around the corner, now is the time to start planning your winter holiday. Hong Kong customers can now experience British Airways’ new World Traveller Plus premium economy cabin from just HK$10,380 for bookings made by 20 November 2012.

With this special fare, travellers can travel to London, plus another city from one of 65 destinations within the UK and Europe from 24 October 2012 to 31 March 2013.

“World Traveller Plus is the ideal choice for both business and leisure travellers looking for excellent value for money. It offers more space and privacy than the economy class cabin, and customers will be able to enjoy the airline’s award-winning business class menus, inspired and developed by celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal,” said Tracy Dedman, British Airways Regional General Manager, Greater China and the Philippines.

“This special offer lets travellers experience more of the UK. Our new route to Leeds Bradford is just the latest of the many destinations customers can conveniently connect to from Heathrow Terminal 5. With the state-of-the-art Terminal 5 at London Heathrow, British Airways provides smooth and easy connections all over the UK and Europe,” Dedman added.

British Airways has invested GBP110 million (HK$1.33billion) in its new World Traveller Plus cabin with new seats and a state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system. The quieter cabin gives travellers more privacy and comfort than the economy class cabin, with seven inches added legroom and increased recline. The inflight entertainment system, with a bigger 10.6 inch high-resolution screen, offers 100 films and TV programmes, 70 CDs and 20 games In addition, World Traveller Plus customers enjoy twice the free baggage allowance of economy class and can check in two pieces weighing up to 23 kgs each.
