THAI Commercial Team Conference 2012 Focuses on “Towards Professional Excellence”

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) held the THAI Commercial Team Conference 2012 based on the theme “Towards Professional Excellence.”

Mr. Danuj Bunnag, THAI Executive Vice President of Commercial Department, said that THAI’s Commercial Department is rising to the challenge put forth by THAI’s Board of Directors to achieve a revenue target increase of about 12 percent at the amount of THB 184,000 million baht in 2013.? To achieve this target, THAI’s Commercial Department will work closely with the tourism and travel sector, those of which include the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Airport Authority of Thailand, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Thai Amadeus, Thailand Convention Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Thailand Incentive Convention Association (TICA), and Thailand Hotels Association (THA), Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA).

Furthermore, Mr. Bunnag stated that Southeast Asia is a region that is changing fast and gaining increasing importance in international commerce and trade.? He announced that in a move to change and move forward, THAI will focus on expanding new business opportunities and cover new frontiers in Asia.

The THAI Commercial Team Conference 2012 held on the theme “Towards Professional Excellence” was held at the Royal Orchid Sheraton and attended by members of THAI Management and General Managers from THAI offices worldwide.
